The Deep State Versus Donald Trump

I've heard of the submerged state - all the government programs Americans use without acknowledging that they receive benefits from government programs - but the Deep State is an interesting framework for understanding our country. If you're hoping the CIA and other intelligence agencies will somehow do the same thing for the 2016 election that was done with the 2017 Oscars, you may want to watch these two videos.





I'm not really sure choosing a side in this fight even makes much sense. My ideological imperatives aren't represented by either combatant, and neither group is concerned at all about my well being.
