Does it Bother You to Realize You Live In An Oligarchy?

The real question to me, regarding our political system, is whether Americans care that we live in an oligarchy. I am not happy about living in an oligarchy, but I'm also not happy about our inadequate renewable energy policies, our mass incarceration, our wage stagnation, our skewed wealth distribution . . . and it's not clear to me that significant numbers of Americans care about any of these things. Of course, there are networks of Americans who care, but are the masses capitulating through neglect? We will see in November.
